Assessment Session (90 mins)

The initial session is an assessment session aimed to evaluate your sleep difficulties in order to gain an insight into your sleep problem and to assess if CBT-I is a suitable treatment. If the assessment indicates that your sleep problem is insomnia, then a treatment plan based around CBT-I will be discussed. If the assessment indicates that another sleep disorder is present then recommendations for further diagnostic investigations will be made.

Therapy Sessions (50 mins)

Typically clients attend between 4 to 6 sessions either weekly or fortnightly. Over the course of the sessions a range of strategies and techniques will be introduced depending on your needs. The therapist and client work collaboratively to identify the most appropriate interventions which are then practiced between sessions.
